Angela which reduces 6 points of damage when you are taking damage from an enemy/obstacle.Milo Sir which every fever state will last 2 more seconds.

It depends on what kind of playing style you prefer, the high-risk high reward approach of higher score or the safer option of taking lesser damage from enemies.Įlfins are small cute creatures which you can unlock the same way as unlocking characters.
MUSE DASH GAMEPLAY SKIN
You start out with only Rin as her default skin but as you keep playing, you will unlock more skins and characters, each with its own special effect. You also gain exp points that you can level up and collect item/character fragments and wallpaper fragments which we will get to it later. After every song stage, the game rates your score, rank and accuracy. Each difficulty has its own achievements that you try to achieve like perfectly deflect boss attacks or achieve ‘MISS’ less than 5 times. You get to choose your song to play and the difficulty setting. There are also musical notes that you can collect for points. Getting hit by an enemy or an obstacle decreases your HP and you will fail the song stage if your hp drops to zero.
MUSE DASH GAMEPLAY FULL
When your fever meter is full it automatically goes into fever mode where you gain more points than usual when hitting enemies. The bottom of the screen shows your HP and fever meter. The game starts out easy as you get used to the controls but further into the game it gets alot harder where you will be tapping fingers vigorously like a madman (lol). There is also a long neon strip that you have to press and hold and ‘!’ bubble that you can tap as fast as you can for more points. Tapping on the right lets you attack enemies on the ground and tapping on the left lets you attack enemies in the air. Animations are very smooth when the character attacks an enemy or jumps with each character has its own set of attacks. There are three characters in the game which are Rin (Bassist), Buro (Loli with a giant bear) and Marija (Violinist), each drawn as cute characters. Though there is not a lot of variation between the stages as there are only like four different stage designs. The background of stages is beautifully drawn and each stage has its own design of enemies. While customization may feel a little bare-bones to some, everything else from its music, to the art direction, to the gameplay is hard to beat.First thing when I saw the design art for this it reminds me of the anime Panty & Stocking which has a unique cartoon feel with vibrant colors. For $30 though, I could see many deciding that the price point is just a bit too high for a rhythm game.
MUSE DASH GAMEPLAY PC
What developer PeroPeroGames has been able to do with Muse Dash is remarkable, with such a cheap entry price on PC its hard not to at least give the game a try. If you decide to buy the game on Nintendo Switch however, you’ll only be able to purchase the full game with all current and future DLC included.

MUSE DASH GAMEPLAY UPGRADE
If you decide to upgrade your purchase and pick up the DLC songs you’ll be paying another $30, but in return you’ll receive all currently released 13 DLC packs, each containing 6 songs each, as well as a new music pack every month.

If you decide to pick up the base edition of Muse Dash on PC, you’re going to get an amazing 40 songs out of your $3. It really surprised me just how much difficulty can be squeezed out of a fairly basic rhythm game, but I should’ve expected just as much from a Japanese rhythm game. When ramping certain songs up to Master difficulty, especially songs in the Give Up Treatment DLC packs, things get hectic to an extreme. When you first start playing a rhythm game with only 2 rows of notes to hit and only a couple of special notes that are quicker or turn transparent when they reach you, you don’t feel like it could get all that challenging. If you are trying to shoot up the leaderboards though, don’t worry too much about it right away, because while you may crack the top 1000 or so on hard difficulty, the unlockable Master difficulty really brings a challenge that’s hard to see coming.
